The Manager of Retail Field Operations will oversee the operations of the field service technicians and AOR teams, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to all safety standards. This role involves supervision of direct reports with the ability to communicate effectively while maintaining the highest quality of service and operational efficiency. This is a Monday - Friday role that may require occasional weekends. Air Mechanical is located in Ham Lake, MN.
Essential functions:
- Supervise Field Supervisors/Trainers.
- Oversee Field Teams.
- Utilize data or reporting features to share with the Retail General Manager as it relates to productivity and revenue.
- Ensure Service and AOR teams are trained to support the needs of customers with an ongoing awareness of changing industry trends or standards.
- Act as the escalation point for Retail related issues to resolve problems/issues promptly.
- Work in collaboration with the Retail General Manager to drive initiatives to improve service processes, reduce downtime, and enhance the overall customer experience.
- Cooperatively work with other departments for labor sharing and to align with business objectives.
- Monitor key performance issues with adjustments or improvements as needed.
- Interview and hire staff for available Retail positions.
- Quality check and submit timecards to payroll on a weekly basis.
- Monitor and understand financials/budgets to ensure revenues and expenses are maintained within budget and reported to CFO as requested.
- Manage EOS foundational processes including accountability charts, rocks, setting the correct meeting pulse, scorecards, and V/TO’s.

- Support, encourage, and coach Field Sups and provide training as needed or identified.
- Consistently complete reviews and evaluations of direct reports and Retail Division Field Staff.
- Facilitate Service/AOR meetings and L10’s to mentor, train, and develop team members in an environment where they can excel/improve skills.
- Address Customer Technical and Service issues that arise.
- Document/discuss any employee concerns or issues with HR.
- Other duties as assigned or needed.

Physical Requirements:
This position requires interaction with internal staff within an internal and outside environment including interaction with AMI’s Retail Teams and customers. You may be required to drive a company vehicle at times and bend, stretch, reach, and with hands to grasp, type, hold, or move objects. Must be able to see/hear/and the ability to maneuver for driving on roadways/freeways in addition to office work. May be required to climb ladders/stairs and be exposed to heights and/or fumes at times. Must have the ability to use muscles to occasionally lift, push, pull or carry objects of not more than 50 lbs. Must be able to communicate over the phone, over email, and in person. Manual dexterity with fingers/hands to use computers, phones and electronic devices is required in this role.
